Public Service Announcement

Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used to define bra sizes?

If you have wondered why, but couldn't figure out what the letters stood for, it is about time you became informed!

{A} Almost Boobs...

{B} Barely there.

{C} Can't Complain!

{D} Dang!

{DD} Double dang!

{E} Enormous!

{F} Fake.

{G} Get a Reduction.

{H} Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up!

NEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASHNEWSFLASH

I just told Gabe that he needed to finish reading "Eldest" since it is due at the library tomorrow. Lillian, sitting next to us, said "Elvis? My BABY is named Elvis!" (With her 'what are the odds' face.)

Then she proceeded to tell us "And my other baby is named Pimple!"

And just so you know, they are both girls. But she didn't choose then names; that was her friend.

And in other news...Arnel ran over a frog in our driveway the other day after a big rain. It is still there. The boys have outlined the body in chalk.

The fun never ends.

What a busy weekend!

This weekend I treated myself to something I've never done before. I attended a 2-day crop. Friday night from 6-11 and then again from 9-9 on Saturday I scrapped, scrapped, scrapped! It was a fundraiser so I did have to pay $50 for the two days but they provided dinner Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday, plus drinks and snacks. They also had vendors there (but I was good and only bought one set of things) and provided $5 towards a vendor purchase. AND...they had lots and lots of door prizes...and I won twice! I won a 12x12 plastic page case and a pack of 8 1/2 x 11 the first time, and the second prize I won was a glue pen and a football-shaped chipboard album! And as icing on the cake I completed four 1-page layouts, two 2-page layouts and started on two mini-album type of things. The only drawback (aside from the $50) will be tomorrow when I have to unpack and put away all my supplies.

Today some friends invited us over to hang out for the afternoon after church so we just sat around and watched football and ate and gabbed...very relaxing and fun. Since today is my birthday they brought my cake and gift (a pretty top) there. When it was time for our three older kids to go to youth group, we farmed the two younger ones out to friends and Arnel took me to my favorite restaurant for a yummy dinner!

Now...I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to catch up on all the stuff I DIDN'T do this weekend!

Exercise

Well, I've done it twice now (Tricia, where were you last night? ~wink~ ) And despite what people try and tell me, it is not fun. I am planning on continuing as long as the family schedule allows but not out of any sense of enjoyment or fulfillment. It is merely a necessary evil to allow me to continue to eat ice cream.

First Day of School 2008

First day of senior year...but oh, so early in the morning!

And off she goes!

Getting organized at home.

And then off to work for them!

And guess who doesn't want to miss out on anything?

So, I've seen Julia off to her first day of her last year of high school. I'm sitting here sipping coffee and waiting for the rest of the crew to wake up but hoping it is not too soon. (Last thing I need is a houseful of grumpy kids on our first day of school!) I'm kinda-sorta prepared but late last night I decided our first order of business today would be to get organized, something I normally do ahead of time. Oh, well.

Wish me luck!

Oh, and with a week without my personal chef's services (aka "Laura") and four parties in three days this weekend, my weight loss wasn't so hot this week, so we won't talk about that this week.

P.S. Lillian just called me from the top of the stairs "Mom?"
"Good morning hon. Come here."
"My legs is tired."
"Oh, I remember that your legs are tired when you wake up. I'll come get you." (Which I do.)
"Do you need to do a pee?"
"Yeah."
"I'll carry you since your legs is tired."
As I'm sitting her on the pot, "Thank you, Mom."

Okay, one down, three to go. Let the fun begin!
